A Sunshine Filled Dining Room

Hi friends.

It’s been since Christmas since I posted anything on here.  I have still been stalking your blogs but just haven’t had time to post myself.  It’s good to be back today.

Tennessee temps were in the high fifties today and the sunshine filled our house.  A perfect day for picture taking and since my dining room was newly cleaned, it got picked.

Look at that sunshine…

These plates are a favorite thing of mine in this room.

Another favorite thing is this old German dough bowl.  It’s big and it’s heavy and has so much charm.

A cabinet full of ironstone and other vintage dishes…just couldn’t get much better…unless of course I had more.

Have mercy on me with all of the pictures.  Remember that it’s been awhile.

My friends, I miss spending time with you.

Blessings to you all….

It's absolutely beautiful Amy! Such a peaceful and happy room. Love the pops of blue. It was a glorious day in KY also - I actually replanted houseplants on my back patio. Have a great week!

I love the ironstone, and that bread bowl is fantastic! We're enjoying the sunshine here as well before it turns super-cold again this week!

...but I love all the pictures! No mercy needed from me.

I love the way this looks, and my favorite part is the use of the cotton. I had some out at Christmas, but I put it away until maybe fall. I love it (cotton in a room) so much that I try to employ the "pumpkin latte effect" with it. You know, that's where you keep certain things for just a limited time. I TRY to do the same with dried hydrangeas, but I always bring them back out, no matter what the season.

Beautiful and so very AMY.

Your dining room is beautiful. I too, LOVE the dough bowl. I have been looking for an affordable one for some time. Everything looks great but my favorite would have to be the cart by the door holding your linens...so pretty.
