Brighter Days

Hi all!

How are you?

We’re getting pretty cold weather here in Tennessee right now, but thankfully the sun has still been shining.  For that, I am grateful.  I really don’t mind wintertime because Tennessee winters are so mild.  A little snow would actually be sort of nice.

What about you right now.  How is your weather?

This time of year, I really am wanting my house to be brighter and lighter.  I love bringing in fresh flowers and sprinkling them here and there.  I try to use as much white as possible.

A brighter home seems to make all of our moods brighter.

Brighter, sunnier days to come…

I hope your days are filled with joyous sunshine no matter how cold it is outside.

Blessings to you!

Your little vignette is so lovely. I think I might try to make something similar.

I feel a little guilty telling you about my weather. We spent the last 3 weeks in southern California (on the coast) chilled to the bone - not typical weather. But, this past weekend was spectacular. Today we hiked a new Botanical Garden trail and I didn't even notice how steep the trail was because we were oohing and ahhing at every turn. Our coastal islands were glistening in the sun. I don't know what this week will bring, but I will live for days in the glory of today.

Hey my sweet friend! I love your pretty white flowers in those little clay pots. Flowers do help to brighten the mood during winter. Your vignette is such a happy one :) Our weather has been cold but gorgeous last few days here, too.
Stay warm!
Missing you all
Lots of hugs

It was crazy cold here today! I shoot a lot of my shop photos in a space I have set up behind our outbuilding and it was 10 degrees. My fingers hurt when I came back in the house. I like a lot of light and bright indoors during the winter too, especially when it gets so gray outdoors. I know I've told you before, but I love your music choices and often visit your blog, just to listen to your playlist - even though I've already read your most current post! Thanks for sharing at Knick of Time Tuesday!

The flowers do brighten things up. A reminder of the coming season. My white camellia bush is blooming, I should bring them inside. Thanks for the inspiration!

I truly do see brighter days ahead.

I love your little bright touches to bring a little sunshine to the winter days.

And btw, once again I came here to read and got caught away singing your songs. Thanks for having such great ones.

Living in Maine, our winters are not the same as when I was growing up as a kid, but still long and cold. Your table decor is very happy looking on a cold day..........enjoy andi

It is absolutely frigid here today in PA! I'm doing lighter and brighter in my home too and it does lift your spirits during these cold winter months! I think I need to get some fresh flowers today - maybe some white tulips! Thanks for the inspiration!

Very pretty, Amy. Flowers never fail to brighten my day. We are now below zero here in the upper Midwest. It takes a lot of getting used to!

It's been chilly here, but have enjoyed the sunshine these last few days, whereas the valley, where my kids go to school has been thick fog:-( Cold, wet fog is the worst!

Hi Amy, I just found you through Knick of Time, and following you now. Your little vignette is just darling. It really dumped snow here today (western Colorado) but we're cozy indoors :) I love your music playlist!
