Snowmen, Sparkles, and Pinecones

I love a variety at Christmastime.

I love simple, but I also love sparkles.

I love nature, but I also love glitter.

At Christmastime, I can marry all that I love.

I also have to bring my simple tastes together with my children’s “let’s go all out” taste.

My Christmas fireplace showed a little of both styles.

My beautiful old German dough bowl filled with sparkly ornaments, pinecones, and fresh greens captures all that we love..

We’ve got sparkles and we have nature…

A little further beyond my coffee table is another little white table filled with Christmas!

This little snowman is probably the last thing left in my house that came from Kirkland’s.  He is a favorite “friend” of ours during the cold winter months.

Baskets of pinecones and greens are such a beautiful thing.

From my heart and home today, I wish you all a blessed day and upcoming weekend.

Beautiful, Amy! I love a little sparkle this time of year too. Your basket full of pine cones is so pretty and I have to say I like the Kirkland's snowman too. This time of year I have to drag out my snowmen from Hobby Lobby... I've gotten used to putting them out every Christmas!

Your little twiggy snowman is so cute!
I accidently hit delete on your comment in my email (its still on my blog). I just wanted to thank you for your sweet comment on my mantel. I love that you said rustic glam because that is just what I was going for! :)

Love that dough bowl, girl! Such a great timewashed patina! Just my style! I found kind of a trug that is probably vintage, but doesn't really look like it is. I think I am going to paint and distress it on Sunday and use it as my dining table centerpiece! So looking forward to decorating!

Thanks for your always lovely comments! Such a joy!

Hope your holiday season is full of all kinds of wonderful blessings, Amy!
Hugs,
Becky

Love the mixture in your dough bowl, Amy, of the sparkles and shinys (is that a word?) with the naturals.
