Hello to all my friends!
It seems like it’s been awhile since I have been on here. I am trying real hard to keep first things first and setting priorities in my life is a must.
We seem to have so much going on right now and my home is taking a little backseat.
I did get to take a quick trip to see my mom last week and while there was able to go by my uncle’s place which is full of amazing things. While looking in one of his many places that he keeps his treasures, I spotted a chippy white little cabinet. It seemed to be just sitting there waiting just for me to bring it home and make it beautiful. I was happy to oblige.
Beautiful rusty old tin front that used to read Diamond Dyes and then had some sort of girl and boy scene underneath.
I love the way my paper wreath picks up on so many of the colors in the tin.
Yes, I know I just showed you this farm table the other day and now I have already changed it up again. That’s just what happens around here.
This is another thing I have been working on…
I picked this beautiful basket of apples from an apple tree right down the road from me. I have been making apple butter and apple sauce and a wonderful apple pie.
Time to get busy with my day.
I pray you all have a wonderful day and week ahead.

Adore your cabinet... I have gotton a few treasures and will have to share soon.. Your apples look so good this morning... Blessings Pam
I feel lucky when I find pieces that are already worn. Rust is a harder one to recreate - love your decor.

Wow! I love the chippy cabinet. The wreath is so pretty. Did you make it?
Amy, the rusty white cabinet is right at home with you. Apple pie, apple sauce, and apple butter sound heavenly just now. I never make pies but have made apple sauce before. hugs to you, Olive
Hmm, my first comment didn't post, let's try again! Your chippy cabinet looks fab on your farm table Amy, especially next to your wreath! All those apples make me think of fall but I don't think I'm quite ready to let go of summer yet...:-) I can smell the applesauce!

You know I just adore that cabinet! The apples look delicious, especially in your old egg basket. Life seems to get especially busy now and I understand about priorities. I loved reading your comment on Facebook recently of your family time and so wonderful to read of how well your mom is doing. Have a wonderful week friend!
Dearest Amy,
Yummmmmm!
The apples have my vote.
Awesome that you make your own apple sauce, apple butter and PIE!!!
Sweet Summer blessings to you,

What a beautiful cabinet and funnily I know of Diamond Dye. My late father in law was President of Sterling Drug (bayer asprin fame) Diamond Dye was one of their product and sales were always brisk and different in Quebec province, as patchwork quilts were sewn by many housewives.
Yours is a treasure

When is that Apple Pie due to come OUT of the oven??? YuM!!! It is beginning to be that time of year...pie baking, stew cooking! I adore your newest find and agree that it is perfectly hued to fit into this vignette! It truly is a treasure knowing that it once belonged to your Uncle! Chippy white cabinet is a Diamond in the Rough!

Hugs,
LOVE that little cabinet - it was meant to be yours!
Hi Amy, love the old chippy cabinet. I lovvvve your farmhouse table. My favorite here is the basket of apples! Perfect look for starting fall fever!
The tea towels you ask about were a gift from my sister. She lives in Atlanta and I'm sure they came from her favorite gift shop. The galvanized pails are from Tuesday Morning, inexpensive!
