Summer Bucket List

Hey all!

What a beautiful weekend my family has had.  The weather was perfect and we got lots of things done that we needed to get done.

I have to show you one of my latest easy to do projects that I am having a blast with.

Look way down there in the hallway…

Isn’t this is a great place to have your family bucket list?  We all listed things that we wanted to do this summer.  Some will happen..some won’t, but it’s fun to think about what you want to do.

This was a cheap and easy project.  I bought an unfinished door at Lowes, primed it, and painted both sides with chalkboard paint.  Done!  My kind of project.

I got this great idea when I was looking around the beautiful blog, House of Belonging.  Go take a look at how great hers looks in her dining room.

Along with all kinds of household projects, I am also getting ready for my first all things vintage, repurposed, or upcycled yardsale this weekend.  I would love for it to be a barnsale, but I have no barn.  I only have a chicken coop.  Smile  I am just having a great big yardsale that consists of what I mentioned above.  Can’t wait to see how it goes.

I hope you all have a wonderful week full of blessings!

I have a similar list, but it goes more like; clean out pantry, clean garage, clean basement, pack away items not being used for move, etc.. I would much rather do #13 on your list all summer!

Hi Amy! Love your door. There's a few things on your list that we have planned this summer too. Maybe need to get together and do one or two of them!! (Where do you go to pick blueberries? Andrea and I found a great organic blueberry farm that we went to last summer and we plan to go back this year!) Also, can you email me some info on your garage sale? I would love to stop by. Andrea will be gone, but I can come I think. Thanks!!! Have a good week. ~ Dori ~

Amy,
A Summer Bucket List...how clever! Love the chalkboard door...I know there will be other uses for it in the near future!!!Good luck with your yard $ale. When we did one in Colorado and the boys were little...they set up a lemonade stand with brownies just for donations! They made nearly $10 in the two days! They chose to spend it on a movie!!!Ah~h~h the memories of Summers past and the anticpation of Summers to come!!! Have a great week...sure it will be busy with all the preparations!
Fondly,
Pat

I can't believe you posted this because I wrote something on a similar but smaller scale this morning. I read the idea in a magazine, and they called it a sand pail list. I love the idea so I'm doing it. I'm lame because my list is a lot shorter.

And I really love the chalkboard paint on the door idea. They have doors at the habitat restore too. Hmmm...

And I'm calling your a Crazy Coop sale. That's what I have decided in my head so don't disillusion me.
