I want to show you one simple photo of how I spent my day.
See that bottom shelf.
The enamel pan holds the last of the apple butter that I made in the fall.
The other jars are filled with delicious strawberry jam that I made today.
What a fruitful day I had.

I SO have plans to pick some strawberries when they come into season here in June and I'll make me some jam of my own. Yummers.....
I love apple butter and haven't had it for years. Lucky you to still have some. :-)
Is there anything more satisfying than seeing those jars on your shelf? My hubby absolutely loves apple butter but I haven't made any in years. We won't have any strawberries for at least another 2 months here! So, I will just drool over your jars of jam! xo Diana
You are so smart to do that. Well done and it looks so pretty and wholesome in your cabinet.
Oh that looks delicious!
Oh I haven't canned in years, it makes me want to grow a garden. The cabinet looks so homey. Just love it.
Love the ironstone and the cabinet.. Oh I could eat up the jam too! Thanks for sharing..
Oh yummy! How much do you think shipping to California would cost??

Mmmm...looks like you're all set with lots of yummy goodness. When I was growing up my mom would do lots of canning, mostly vegetables though.
Sounds delish. Love the entire vignette.
Amy,
Oh yum! Don't you love when you can see so tangibly what you accomplished in a day. I know your family is happy to see those jars of jam. Love all your white dishes in that CUTE cabinet!
