Spring Time Shelves

Hi my friends

Are you ready for spring?  Are you getting your house spring and summer ready?

I am in the mood to lighten and brighten my house which will also lighten and brighten our moods around here.  We all start going a little stir crazy this time of year and are just ready to be outside all the time.

I was looking through a new to me magazine called Vintage Style, which I love by the way, and found a great idea to freshen up my chippy white shelving unit.

I gathered lots of my favorite whites and started playing.

yes shelf 2

I love white dishes!  I love the varying shades of white!

shelf 1

My number 9 gets moved all over the house because it’s one of my all time favorite things.   I love the industrial look standing right next to the lovely fabrics.

shelf 7

I love to lay stacks of linens on shelves and in little cubbies to soften otherwise hard areas.

yes shelf 3

This came together so easily and so nicely and really does speak spring to me.

Thanks to Vintage Style magazine for some great inspiration for indoors and out.

Hope the rest of your week is wonderful!

Love it Amy, what a great assortment of pitchers and crocks. I have been trying to "fluff" our family/tv room, it is the bane of my decorating life!! By the way I stumbled across that Vintage Syle mag a couple weeks ago, what a pleasant surprise, it's a great issue, hopefully there will be more!

Fabulous shelves, Amy, and you've displayed everything in such an eye-catching way!
I picked up that new magazine, too. Isn't it great?
You might also like the new Cottage Style magazine that was just released. I have to stay away from that aisle in the grocery store. :)

Amy...I'm also a white dishes kind of girl. One of my favorite pictures in my home is of a vintage scene that includes some lace handkerchiefs, a white pitcher and bowl on a lovely piece of barn wood with the scripture underneath that says....Create in me a clean heart, O God renew the right spirit in me. Psalm 51:10...Great way to display your sweet things.

Love, Traci

I LOVE all the white! And looking at your combination, I'm realizing that I have lots of similar white I could put together. Thanks for the inspiration. (That is one of my favorite songs, by the way...nice!)

The shelf itself has so much character, but the white on white really brings it to life. I love your pitcher collection and springy arrangement. Visiting from Funky Junk & I'd love it if you'd share this at my Spring Mantel linkup, going on now @ the Delectable Home.

What a beautiful shelf! The white ironstone is just lovely. I enjoyed looking at your blog and was pleasantly surprised to see some pictures of Lynchburg you posted - some of my favorite houses. You must be a fellow TNer!

Thanks for visiting and your sweet comment.

It's ALL so beautiful!!! I have spring fever too but have been able to head outside to rake and clean up some flower beds. I am itching to declutter and move treasures around the house. Your post is an inspiration!
