Pretty Green Barrel

Hey friends!

Did you have a wonderful Thanksgiving?

Did you eat way too much like I did and am still doing?

Did you go black Friday shopping?  I did, along with my family and brother in law and his family.  We left at 9pm and got home after 4am.  Went back shopping later in the day.  Fun, fun, fun!

My sweet girls and I are going to start decorating for Christmas on Sunday so I will be showing you some of that later on next week.

Today, I wanted to show you a super great find from a local antique shop.  I fell in love as soon as I saw it.

Can you see why this was love at first sight?

Headed to bed to catch up on some much needed rest.

Good night all!

Hi Amy

Glad to hear you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, so did we. Didn't do the Black Friday thing. Not into the crowds and rushing around. Love your barrel, i have one also, looks about the same size, mine is natural wood color, and i also have a larger one. Love how to group things together.

Yes Amy I can see why it was love at first sight, I love it! I started my Christmas decorating today but I am moving at a very slow pace LOL!

Amy -
We had a great Thanksgiving and plenty of turkey leftovers. I think we are going to tire of it before we eat it all. In love with your barrel and the color of paint. I MUST do that with my barrel. Thanks for the inspiration. Good night "crazy woman going out on Black Friday". Look forward to seeing your Christmas decorations.

Amy, I love that barrel. It's such a great color and looks like a perfect size to add a little pop to wherever it's put.

I wasn't the all-night shopper that you were. I'm impressed! I got up at 4am and started. I'm beat tonight! But I may go back out tomorrow morning at 7am (a much more reasonable time!) to hit some stores that I missed today.

Have a great weekend!

Adore your blue barrel, and the yummy sacks on top, and pretty much everything on your table!

Oh I love that barrel! I have one too but it's an outside-only version - very weathered and rustic.

It is the perfect size, color and has found a wonderful home! Happy Thanks to you too.

Oh, yes I can :) It's my color too! Our Thanksgiving was wonderful, but not much leftover because we went to my brothers house this year.
I haven't shopped on Black Friday for years. I admire you!

Yes, I can see why it was love! The thing screams, "Amy!". I'm not sure what else it's saying. Maybe, "Amy, you nut. I can't believe you braved the Black Friday crowds!"

We started decorating too. It feels good to have a little change for the season.
