Fowl Play On a Pumpkin

Hey all my friends!

It’s been a few days, hasn’t it?

Our friends from Louisiana have come and gone.  What a glorious week we had!

I have to show you what we discovered while they were here.

Isn’t this a great little face carved into this pumpkin?

See that little heart shaped mouth and those two eyes…

Guess who carved it?

Was it one of these two beauties?

It could have been any of these…

It could have been any out of the twenty one chickens that we have, but it was definitely one of them that did this very artistic carving.

Isn’t this so cool?

We think we have some pretty talented chickens!!

Hope you all have a wonderfully blessed weekend.

Wow, Halloween IS becoming the second-most popular holiday, if even the chickens are celebrating!

Looks like your chickens are artist's! LOL!! I think you should photograph it as "chicken art" - it's just adorable! So happy I found your blog and stopped by this evening.

Please stop by when you have a moment, I love company and new friends are always welcome.

Glad you had buckets of fun with your company.

I'm about to have my morning prayer time, and I thought I would check by.

I think it's time to give those chickens some chisels and hammers and a hunk of marble! Sculptors in the making! Loved this post! And they're beautiful birds!

That is so funny! Our new lab puppy thinks he can carry around the pumpkins by the stem and then breaks all of them! I don't have a pretty pumpkin or gourd left...he eats the gourds!

What would we do without our animals, huh?

Makes perfect sense to me, that you being an artist yourself would possess at least one chicken artist!

Bawk!

I am so glad to see a post from you, Ames! You have been on my mind this past week. Glad that you had a good time with your friends, too.

Now, get those chickens on that TV show called America's Got Talent- I think you have some winners there! xo Diana
