My Enormous Entertainment Center

Hey my sweet friends!

I know I have shown y’all my entertainment center a million times, but here goes a million and one.

I have never quite known what to do with this enormous piece of furniture and its eleven little cubbies.  Yes, I am sure the cubbies are actually for movies, but I absolutely was not going to put movies in them.

This is what I have been playing around with lately.

I added the burlap to try to help with the dark wood overload.  The jars were a suggestion from a friend and I think they work very well.
There you have it…for now.
For those of you who are praying for my mama…thank you, thank you, thank you.  She is doing well.  She is strong.  She is beautiful.  She is holding onto Him.  We all are!!

Headed over to Faded Charm for her White Wednesday party and to Primp for her Wednesday party.

That's so much better than sticking videos and cds in the cubbies. Love the jar with the clock around it's neck. That is the cutest!

I love the look! A Million and One is a keeper! LOL. The sheet music behind the jars and bottles gives it such a great texture. Love the look.

OH AMY! It is a wonderful transformation. I love it with the burlap and jars. It looks like a totally different piece of furniture. I really love the ruffle you made with curtain. That is even better than I envisioned. Great contrast with the wood, white, burlap, and black TV. One of my favorite posts :)
Can't wait to see it in person!

Oh, I love it! The jars in the cubbies are so lovely and unexpected! I also like how you added the burlap to it, too. The lightness of both the jars and the burlap complement the dark wood, and soften it, I think! You did a beautiful job on it all! :)

I hope your week is going well, and that you have a good night! :)

Hi Amy,
So glad to hear that your Mom is doing well. I know it fills your heart with joy!

Love how you have styled your entertainment center! It looks great.

I am always changing things around, and you probably are too. It's fun to see things kind of morph as our tastes change.

Hugs to you!

Oh Amy,
It looks great. I like the glass jars in the cubbies. And what a great idea to use the burlap curtain to soften the wood. Awesome job :-)

Hugs and Kisses,

What a nice way to soften the look of a big old black screen. Would have never thought of doing that but it looks great.------Shannon

Hi Amy,
I love, love, love how you decorated your T.V. hutch. I'm with you, I keep all of my DVD's hidden away. And I love all of your vintage seating in your house, especially the bench with the cushion that you showed in your last post.
I will keep your Mom in my prayers.
Take care and have a great night.

Hi, I'm just curious... how does this entertainment center look when you pull the burlap over the TV, or don't you use it for that? I've been looking/thinking about something to "hide" out big flat screen tv, on a tv stand. I've been thinking about using small shutter sets, hinged together... and just stand them in front of it. Any thoughts? Kindest regards, Penny Sue
