An Old Door and Industrial Stools

Hello to all of you, my sweet friends.

It has been a long while since I showed you my sofa table that I put together on a whim.  And, since I have a few new followers who haven’t seen it and I have changed it up a little bit, I thought I would just show it again.

This is a totally thrown together little table.  I needed something for behind the couch and had the old door in the attic and brought home the stools from my uncle’s house.  Voila…sofa table.

Most of you have seen my great green carpenter’s tote before in my dining room.  It got moved to the living room so now I can see it more often.  I love that chippy green paint.  So perfect.

Do you have any makeshift furniture in your home?  I bet you do because that’s just how we roll, isn’t it?

Happily partying over at Common Ground, At the Picket Fence, My Romantic Home, and The French Country Cottage, and LaurieAnna's for her Farmhouse Friday party.  Headed over to a new party for me at Brambleberry Cottage.

Hi Amy, What a great industrial look! Love that door with the stools. I love repurposing old doors; they're just so beautiful, especially if they still have their old knobs.
Hope all is well, friend. I've missed you.

Hi Amy~
As usual all your junk looks so lovely! You put it all together like a piece of ART.
This sofa table is great, I love the touches of green and the metal legs on those stools!
I'm looking for info right now on selling for increased income and have posted about it. I'd love it if you share a comment on how your etsy shop is going!
Love looking at your home decor...it is beautiful!

I love this!! I have an old door but I don't have the stools. I'll have to be on the lookout.

I so absolutely love it. Even the stools on their own are great (& on my hunting list!) but now they REALLY are (but now they HAVE to be the same height so I can do this. Awesome girl!

this is amazing looking! Way to go - looks like a 'keeper' and not makeshift at all.

Very simple, nice job. I have some old materials from my uncle's california home I could try this with. That tool box is the show stopper though! How awesome.
