Hey my friends!
Hope you are doing wonderful!
I am getting ready for a little birthday party for a friend of mine.
Several of our closest friends will be here that we haven’t seen in a long time, so, of course, I have to do some fluffing around the house to make it party ready.
I don’t really bring in party décor. I tend to bring in flowers and candles and just try to make things smell good and look pretty and clean.
I also usually make most of my cleaning supplies but decided to splurge a few weeks ago and order some beautifully lavender scented cleaners.
See what I’m doing today.
I ordered these delightful cleaners and a few other things from Sweet Grass Farm. Go check them out online at www.sweetgrassonline.com.
After everything is good and clean, then I start adding pretty white flowers everywhere.
We have a little snack station that gets used a lot. The entire sign reads Sweet and Salty.
The guest bathroom has to have a little flower and candles also.
This simple vintage wire basket with flowers will greet our guests as they arrive.
I like to buy a couple of the five dollar bouquet of flowers at Wal-Mart and just spread them all over the house. So fresh, so pretty.
My next little project tonight will include these…
I’ll show you later what they look like.
I love to make people feel special when they come to our home. I want them to know that I took a little more time to make things “just right” just for them.
See you all soon.
(For those of you praying for my mom, thank you from the bottom of my heart)

You have such a lovely collection of old bottles, trays and such. Your home always looks lovely, but the flowers really take it over the top!
This is my kind of party decorating...simple, sweet, fresh and pretty. Your friends are going to appreciate the special touches. Enjoy your time with them.
love the little touches of flowers everywhere.
Can I come too if I promise to behave myself?;>) I'll bet your friend will be so pleased with eveything you do for her. I haven't had a "girl party" at our house in a long time. Maybe it's about time I did that~
I can't wait to see what you are doing with the jars and tags and straws(?) xo Diana
Love the flowers in all of those jars and bottles! What a great display... and I'd love to know how those cleaners work... I've seen them on the internet myself and wondered.
It will be a GREAT party I'm sure!

Looks like a wonderful way to set up for a party. Love the white flowers in the mason jars..
I love all of your old bottles. There's just something about white flowers that make everything look so clean and fresh. Loved all of your creative ideas. Hey, those cleaners are so cute. The bottles themselves is enough to make me want to order them. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for visiting my blog.
First of all, I really wish I was coming to the party :)LOL
I've always wanted to try the Farmhouse cleaning products! Please let me know what you think...I may have to get some before I have company here later this month :)
Your house looks gorgeous, girl. Every single little thing, especially all the added flowers. Oh, and those Ball drinking jars look very familiar. Can't wait to use mine...

Amy, I hope the cupcakes turn out yummy! It is funny to me that I even post anything about food...just not so much the cook! Let me know how they turn out! OHHHH...I think I might like to be a guest in this wonderful space! Have a great time with your friends! Christie

So pretty and inviting! I like the jar that has the screw top on it. You have the knack!! Have a great party!
Your guests were in for a real treat last night! Hope you had fun!!
I'm so behind in blogland that I've missed a ton of Amy inspiration. I'm going to enjoy looking back at a week's worth of posts.
I think I'll need to get a little cup of coffee first.
My favorite part of this one is the hanging jar wit the flowers.
And since I make my own supplies too, I'm wondering if I can just add a little lavender oil or something to mine. ('Cause I'm cheap you know...)
Still praying in confidence, btw.
A friend I know calls it an adventure of prayer. She taught me to pray for every little decision or step along the way.
If you have a specific step or decision that needs prayer coverage, please let me know!)
Love all the touches of flowers...your home is always so welcoming Amy! Can't wait to see what you are doing - we look forward to seeing it- btw we are loving that new table you picked up below...wow...amazing:)
About the scones...they are similar to biscuits...we will email you some favorite recipes next week...they are out of this world yummy :)
Amy, I've only looked at a few of your pics, and love everything you create! I'll be checking your blog regularly now :) Have a great day ...
