Twigs and Twine

I love simplicity and when I saw a sweet little twiggy cross that Prairie Farm Girl's son made from simple twigs and twine, I knew I had to have one.
The fact that her little boy made this for her was precious to me.
What did I do?
I gave my oldest daughter a twig, some twine and instructions to make her mama a cross.
And make it she did and I love it.
Mine looks pretty much just like Prairie Farm Girl’s because I even copied how she hung hers.  Copy cat am I.
This is what my little twiggy cross looks like.

How simple and sweet is that?

Love it!
I’m going to post this little cross over at:

It's just perfect, Amy. After all, the original was much the same.

I'm loving your rustic cross, Amy! And it means all the more because your sweet daughter made it for you. This will be something that you can keep for a long, long time with special memories to go along with it. ♥

Very sweet! After my father died, my brother-in-law made crosses from wood in Daddy's workshop. I love the frame around it; will have to add that to mine!
