Tea Stained Tags

I have a new favorite thing.
I buy these little tags at Wal-Mart…
white tags
put them in a pot of prepared tea and let them soak for a few minutes to get desired color.
I  then take them out and lay them on wax paper to let them dry.
After they are dry, I get out my cool little stamps and stamp away.
printed tags
These are so much fun to make.
key tag
window
I love it attached to this old key that belonged to my papa.  (yeah, that’s nanny’s husband) Smile
By the way, this old window had the glass broken out of it so I added the ever trusty chicken wire and voila!!  Isn’t chicken wire great?

These little tags are so easy to make and I love easy and cute and I think these are cute!
Linking up over at Common Ground for her vintage party and French Country Cottage and a new for me party at Stuff and Nonsense. (I so love that name because my life is full of stuff and nonsense)

Love it! We have something similar in our guest room, it is an antique bedspring and we clipped photos on it. I love the key, and the sentimental touch. PS- if you are interested I called your blog out for the Versatile Blogger Award, check out our latest post if you'd like, lots of linking up to do though! So if you ignore no biggie.

Very cute, Amy! Love tags on baskets, keys, etc. Great idea to add chicken wire to the old broken window. It looks great! I'll have to remember that idea when I spot a broken window. I usually pass them by!

Have a great night! :) Michelle

Amy they are adorable!! What a great idea, and I love the key! Chicken wire is great, but I have seriously been thinking about getting some chickens and would have to use it in a more "traditional" way, lol!! Thanks for stopping by:-)

Wouldn't have thought of it, and I love the look.
You can use these with your etsy shop too. Wouldn't it add the nicest touch??

Hope that's taking shape too.

Love you little tags Amy! I did something similar with tags for my booth. Tea Dyed them then stamped a little bee on each on as my lil business is called "The Bee's Knees". sure alot easier and cheaper then some of the other ideas I had!
