If You Want To...

My son has come through for me once again...

He changed my blog button tonight to match my blog header.

Now for the hard part for me because I never want to seem pushy or prideful.  If you would like to take my button and post it on your blog, I would be very honored and pleased.

I also want to take this opportunity to say thank you all for following me and being interested in the things I do.  I do not have near the gifts and talents that some of you ladies have, and my DIY skills are pretty much not, but I do love playing around in my house and trying to make it comfy and pretty.  I love that you all care enough to stop by and see what I have been up to.

I never dreamed that in January of this year, which was when I did my first post, that I would be enjoying this blogging world this much.

I truly have made some very dear friends.  Funny, because I know it doesn't sound weird to any of y'all that I call you friends, but to the non-blogging world, they probably would think I am nuts.

Really, you are my friends and I want you to know that.

Okay, so mushy stuff done.

Here's my new button...

(Thanks again, Keith)

Amy, I have no idea how to grab a button and post it on my blog, but I will spend some time this weekend trying to figure it out! Your blog is always full of pretty things and I look forward to reading it. Have a wonderful Friday! said...

Hi Amy, just wanted to say hello and let you know I know what you are talking about making friends out here in blogland. I'm new here as well...I think I started back in August and like you I'm loving it.

AWWWW you're too kind. Yes I also feel y'all are friends from afar :) That's what blogging does for you and indeed, non-bloggers can react kinda "weird" lol.

Don't look now, but there's a button on my blog...

I had been thinking about doing a button of the week feature for a while so I decided to start with yours. We (Denise and I ) were just discussing how much we love this blog the other day. We love the way you find stuff and find ways to use it in your house.

Aren't you the blessed one to have that son of yours!

Hey! I DO think you're nuts! That's why I like you so much! I know I don't even tell most people when I am talking about something a "fried" made or did that that "friend" is internet based....most people just don't GET that. And, my kids will ask...So~is that one of your INTERNETTTT friends?..and kind of snicker...

Your picture thingy pops up every time you publish a post on my sidebar bloggy thing. You are ALMOST as bad as me-I don't know how to change much of anything on my blog...but I have some computer savvy kids when I beg for some help. I love coming here to visit, Ames! One of the things that brightens my day is your beautiful music. The opening piece that plays is one of my all time favorites. Hugs to you and I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Friday. xxoo Diana
