Simplicity In Fall Decor...Foyer

The entryway needed just a litle fall tweaking.

I didn't plan on doing much because sometimes the simpler really is the better.

This old photo is attached to an old broken mirror.

The glass is gone so I just used my favorite part which is the rusty metal frame.

I LOVE this black and white photo of my daddy showing one of his and my papa's prize jersey's.

My dad was probably about eleven or twelve when this was taken.

I changed my little scrabble tiles from summer to fall.

I love the simple fall look that I've got going on here.

Linking up over at Domestically Speaking for a fall party.

Also linking up over at a new to me blog, Keen Inspirations.

I love those old file drawers, and the whole vignette. I especially love decorating with old photos. I'm going to have to keep my eyes opened for another scrabble game. My kids play ours too much for me to use it in my decorating :-)

I love all of your accessories. I especially love the cow picture...we raise cattle and my husband won grand champion one year. (Wish I had a photo). You certainly have a knack for arranging unusual items into beautiful displays.

Once again, I really love it. Love that old broken mirror with the picture. I need to show this to my sister. I wonder if she has any old photos like that of her husband.

That's such a personal touch. I love decortating with old photos!

Hi Amy,
If you get a chance could you let me know who sings Revelation Song on your playlist. For some reason my computer won't let me see the artist. I love the song and want to purchase it for my ipod.
Thanks :)

I could tell by your thumbnail photo that your decorating was going to be different! I LOVE it. Very nice. I can understand why you love the metal mirror handle and I love it that you used the picture of the family cow!
