Restful Saturday

Oh what a beautiful morning...oh what a beautiful day...

The morning was filled with a crisp chill in the air.

The pumpkin spice coffee beans were freshly ground and made into a wonderful cup of hot coffee.

The homemade spiced peach butter graced my whole wheat toast.

The Country Living Magazine was full of great decorating ideas. (except that I don't decorate for Halloween)

The hubby and all three children were all still asleep...

And the morning was good.

And the day was great.

So thankful for a relaxing day...

So happy that fall is just around the corner.

I am glad you had a great morning. Mine was hectic. We both entered a car show. Trying to get everythign ready and get to it on time on a Saturday morning is not very restful. It is good to know you were having a fun time. I am now sunburned and about to work on my stuff that I have been avoiding lately. I don't decorate really for Halloween either. Sometimes we carve pumpkins and I have a fake jack o lantern that I like. I turn it aroudn after Oct 31st and leave it out until Thanksgiving. I just ordered Country LIving....can't wait for it to get here. I saw a neat easy idea for a sunglasses holder on their website. I am making it tonight. It is something I need and should take 10 minutes. I am glad to have become blogging friends with you. I enjoy your comments and your blog.

Yummm, that peach butter looks absolutely delicious! Glad you had a relaxing morning, me too.

Mine was spent with 1 Samuel, hot tea, and a sleeping hubby. :o)

Even though I don't drink coffee, pumpkin spice coffee sounds delicious! Sounds like you had a wonderful, relaxing morning. I took my kids to the Natural History museum today. Not relaxing, but very fun. :)

Wasn't Saturday morning such a joy and sneak peak of fall? The coolness of the morning made me smile and crave all the things autumn holds. I got to enjoy a morning tea with my sister-in-law and niece (will be posting about that this weekend) and then our family snuck over to our local farmers market and got some very tasty apple cider, some very delicious cinnamon rolls, honey crisp apples, and some more small cucumbers to make one last round of freezer pickles! Will have to fill you in on that!
Have a wonderful Holiday!

Looks like a perfect morning - your coffee beans sounds delicious as does that peach jam. We have had 2 unbelievably perfect Fall days here in Michigan. Made our first cider mill visit yesterday - cider and freshly baked cinnamon donuts. Everyone wearing Fall clothes. My favorite cider mill opens next week and I can't wait to visit! I read my Country Living yesterday too!
