Another Trip To the Flea Market...

98 degree heat, concrete, shopping, and seven year old girls don't mix.

How do I know?

I took my youngest daughter with me to the Nashville Flea Market on Friday and left after an hour and a half.   The heat, the walking, the people were more than she could take.

I did find a few things that I had to have (actually wanted).

LOVE my bench!!!

Got a shopping cart for Faith that she had eyed.  (it will be great for yardsaling and flea markets for mama)

See my little little wooden door back there?  Why do I love that little thing so much?  Really...I just think that it is great.  It's the perfect size with the perfect little rusty lock on it.  It will not be painted, just cleaned up a little before it comes inside and takes it place in a perfect spot.

Yes, I love these things also.

For a very quick trip, I think I did pretty good.  What do you think?

Oh yeah, and I bought a very small lemonade for Faith that cost $3.00. Good grief at the price, but it got me a few extra minutes of shopping so it was worth it.

Linking up over at Southern Hospitality.

Great finds, once again. I love the drawer the best. It looks like the drawer to an old sewing machine. Is that what it is?

$3.00 lemonade. Hrmph... so glad the shopping was worth it though.

Love the bench and the sewing machine drawer.
I love finding the drawers to use in my workroom. I just paint them white and shabby them up a bit.
I love all your finds. You did well in that short period of time. I know what you mean about this awful heat and humidity.

Amy! I picked up that same drawer at a flea market while on my trip to Bar Harbor, was going to blog about it in the next day or two! And I love that bench! Great finds

3 bucks for lemonade! but they had a captured audience and it did buy you time as well.
The doorknob is a great find.
I love that you are not painting everything white. Shabby Chic does not have to be whitewashed. (oooh the hate mail I will receive)
