My speaker decided she wanted a little makeover because she was not feeling very pretty.
A little vintage flower brooch...
And a little burlap...
And you have this...

Now she is all dressed up and holds my crusty white birdcage that my son says looks like the taj mahal.
I am linking up to My Romantic Home and Finding Fabulous.

Great idea! I think me and my husband have an unspoken rule that I don't touch his electronics and he doesn't touch my decorations...not sure :) I would love to have you join my Mclinky party Favorite Things Friday the 19th if you are interested!
Very clever! The burlap is perfect because it's so porous. And that bird cage DOES look like the Taj Mahal at that.
A most unique and wonderful idea!!!
My Show n Tell is just Springtime Flowers in our Yard A nice treat after a long, cold winter!! Stop over and 'smell the roses' with me if you can! I'd love your company!!
I think burlap makes everything better! :)And a bird cage on top...icing on the cake.
Morning Amy!
Love this project!
Hope you do not mind..I blogged with a link to your blog for the items you found at the flea.

Is there anything burlap can't do? This is a great tip. Maybe I can use it to cover up our ginormous big screen too, but I don't think my hubs would go for that one!
Thanks for the great idea!
Well isn't that cute? I love the flower brooch too -- makes it dressy.
What a nice idea.
Who knew that speakers could get dressed up. Very cute.
Wow! This is proof that you can decorate and pretty much make anything beautiful. :) Great job!
I know exactly what you mean! My hubby too! I love the burlap! And the sweet little brooch! Mine are covered in fabric too! And used as little tables!! Funny!
Great thinking. But I am not sure I could get away with that one.... LOL
Well....aren't you clever? I love that and like another commenter said...burlap is holey so it's perfect. I remember when we had huge speakers and I so disliked them. So we have just little tiny ones. :) Have a super great weekend. xoxo
You have a wonderful blog. I came over from Nostalgia gal. I've been looking all around in here. What creative ideas you have! And a great eye for the good stuff :)

Is there anything burlap can't do? It's the duct tape of home decor!
Cute idea. No one would know there is a speaker under all that cuteness!
